Wednesday Women’s Golf League

Waynesboro Golf & Games is proud to offer a public golf league for women in Waynesboro, Virginia. This league is open to women of all skill levels.

Our scenic 9 hole course is short enough to walk and a typical round takes about an hour. It’s everything you could ask for—fresh air, friendly competition, and an opportunity to swing some clubs without losing 4 hours of your day.

League play starts Wednesday, April 4, 2018. That means its time for you to round up a partner for some fun on our scenic par 3 course. Enjoy the spring weather while competing for the league trophy and some extra spending money.

How it Works
1. This league consists of 2 person teams, so once you find a partner you should complete the electronic form listed below and submit your team registration fee. Please note: Team registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.

2. The league takes place Wednesdays for 9 weeks. If for some reason you can’t play on a Wednesday during the regular season, no big deal. You just need complete your round on another day and turn in your scorecard.

During the first 8 weeks, you and your teammate will play together to learn the ins and outs of the course. During the final week (or two), your team will be placed in a single elimination tournament. This experience culminates in a championship match to decide which team wins the league trophy and some extra spending money.

Cost
There is a $20 registration fee, and then the cost to participate is $7 per person, each week. This fee includes:

• At least 9 rounds of Par 3 golf golf (8 regular season matches and at least 1 tournament round)
• Discounted practice rate (stop by the course anytime during the season and play Par 3 golf at 25% off regular price)

Format
Captain’s Choice – each team member’s tee shot must be taken at least once.
